Beer for the Digital Age

Buying a friend a beer is about as bedrock as friendship moves go, so we decided that if phones and social media were going to make every other aspect of friendship digital, Budweiser should get on that as well. The first-ever beer-to-peer pilot program launched in three cities nationally, with thousands of beers sent to and fro by attractive, internet-savvy bar patrons. Even more impressive still was that we managed to pull this off in an age before the widespread use of Venmo and the like and the experience connected directly into the POS systems of our partners.
