Virtual Reality Invades Actual Reality

VR is a pretty easy sell once you’ve experienced it first-hand, and that’s the problem: People aren’t excited to demo a communal sweatband at Best Buy. So to hand-deliver the immersive promise of Oculus Quest, we brought the experience of VR out the headset and into the real world with an experiential takeover of the LA Theatre. We surprised over 2000 unsuspecting Star Wars fans with an eye-popping, pre-movie stunt that brought the worlds of Oculus to life with holograms, lasers, spatial audio, projection mapping, and a dozen very aggressive confetti cannons. The result was hundreds of folks immediately interested in trying on a Quest at waiting demo stations, and a brand experience that could only be topped by the immersive nature of VR itself.
