Social Media Sneaks into Black Ops 2
Three years after its release, 10 million players were still playing Black Ops 2. We figured they probably knew the game pretty well. So we decided to reward their special brand of multiplayer monogamy with a little preview of their next relationship. For the first time ever we changed an existing Call of Duty game to tease a new one, embedding a SnapCode into one of the game’s most popular multiplayer maps and forever ridding players of the illusion that online games are a haven from social media.
