NOTRE DAME DES VICTOIRES: CENTENNIAL DOC

A short story, 100 years in the making.

Notre Dame des Victoires is a french primary school in the heart of San Francisco that celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2024. In anticipation of this milestone they asked if we’d could collect the voices and experiences of current and former students, parents, and staff to create a short film that would mark the occasion, double as a recruiting tool, and act as something of a time capsule as the school looked to its next 100 years. What started as a tiny project interviewing staff and students ballooned to us conducting 72 individual interviews with alumni, parents, members of the church and the community. It is absolutely clear that the people who attended or worked with NDV keep it in their hearts for life, a thread we tried to highlight through a three-act structure that addressed the past, present, and future of this delightful school.
